Therapeutic ultrasound uses low-energy sound waves to treat chronic pain and minor orthopedic injuries. The sound waves penetrate the body and transfer energy to the tissues, causing vibrations and gentle heating.
 
These effects can help with pain relief by relaxing muscles and connective tissues, increasing blood flow to the damaged tissue, and decreasing swelling by mobilizing fluid that has settled and thickened in damaged tissues and by increasing lymphatic flow.

Finally, ultrasound can break up scar tissue, make it easier to stretch tissues and regain mobility and function.
Paraffin Wax is solid wax with a low melting point that is often used as a medium to transfer heat energy to muscles and sore joints. When the warm paraffin wax is applied to the skin, it causes the blood vessels to expand, which improves circulation, promotes healing and helps remove toxins out of the skin. 


Paraffin wax is often used for a variety of hand conditions, such as stiff joints from osteoarthritis, soft tissue contractures, conditions like scleroderma and rheumatoid arthritis, tenosynovitis, and Dupuytren's contracture.
Electrical stimulation, also known as E-STIM, is a non-invasive treatment that uses electrodes to send small electrical pulses through specialized patches placed directly on the skin to stimulate muscles or nerves.  E-STIM can target muscles to stimulate quicker motor recovery, or nerves to reduce pain.  The electrical current causes rhythmic muscle contractions, which can help repair injured muscles, inhibit spasticity, and relieve chronic pain. The electrical currents may also help improve blood flow and stimulate healing in the muscle fibers or nerves.

It is important to note that the effectiveness of scar therapy may vary depending on the type, size, and location of the scar, as well as individual factors such as genetics and skin type. Consulting with a healthcare professional or dermatologist is advised to determine the most suitable scar therapy approach for each individual.
Splint fabrication requires skill and expertise to ensure that the device is correctly fitted,  Splint fabrication is a process of creating custom-made orthopedic devices that support and immobilize injured body parts. The fabrication process involves several steps, starting with taking accurate measurements of the injured area to ensure a proper fit. The material is then selected and prepared according to the specific requirements of the patient. It is then applied onto the injured area and molded to its shape. Once the material solidifies, additional modifications such as padding or strapping may be added for increased comfort and stability. Splint fabrication requires skill and expertise to ensure that the device is correctly fitted, aligned, and comfortable for the patient. These custom-made splints can be used to treat a wide range of injuries and conditions, such as fractures, sprains, tendonitis, or to support joints after surgeries. They provide the necessary immobilization and support to promote healing and allow patients to regain function and mobility.
